Kevin O'Shea

Kevin O'Shea is a seasoned optical design engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Optical Design Engineer at Edmund Optics since April 2020, Kevin previously held roles at Seattle Photonics Associates as a Principal Optical Engineer and at Microsoft as a Senior Optical Engineer. Kevin's career began at Ball Aerospace, where the position was also Senior Optical Engineer, and returned to Edmund Optics in a similar capacity prior to joining Seattle Photonics. Kevin O'Shea's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington Bothell, a Master of Science in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Science in Optics from the University of Rochester. Additionally, Kevin completed an Associate in Applied Science in Laser and Fiber Optic Technology at Queensborough Community College of CUNY.
