Mark Vilson Anitohin

Mark Vilson Anitohin has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Mark Vilson started their career at McDonald's Corporation as a Service Crew member in 2006. After that, they worked as a Store Associate at CVS Health from 2007 to 2008. In 2010, they had a Summer Internship at Toyota Financial Services and also worked as a Subcontractor at Odesus for a few months.

In 2014, Mark joined PRODEGE, LLC as a Java Engineer and later became a Senior Software Developer. During their time there, they identified and optimized server-side bottleneck areas, improved back-end systems for the Answer channel, and provided technical support to production environments.

Since 2017, Mark has been working at Edmunds. Mark Vilson started as a Software Engineer and later got promoted to Software Engineer 5. Mark Vilson demonstrated expertise in vehicle data services and was responsible for writing RFCs, design documents, and QoL improvements to internal data tools. Mark Vilson also upgraded MongoDB replicasets.

Currently, Mark holds the position of Tech Lead at Edmunds, starting in September 2022. Overall, their work experience showcases their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to take ownership in various roles and industries.

Mark Vilson Anitohin received their Associate's degree in CIS Programming from Cerritos College in 2010. Mark Vilson then pursued further education at Cerritos College and obtained an Associate's degree in Programming with a focus on Computer Science - Transfer in 2012. In 2011, they attended Long Beach City College for a year, where they declared an undeclared field of study. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, Mark attended UC Irvine and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
