Hendrik van Hemert

Hendrik Van Hemert is currently the Managing Director at Edo, where they focus on building-to-grid integration and facilitates the adoption of clean technologies. Prior to this, they served as the Regional Director at McKinstry and led energy management services teams. Hendrik also worked as the Operations Manager at McKinstry, overseeing facility solutions. Hendrik has experience in partnerships and served as the VP of Partnerships at the Seattle Net Impact Professional Chapter. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Oregon and gained intern experience in origination and structuring at Ecos Consulting. Earlier in their career, they served as a Special Assistant to the Mayor at the Municipality of Anchorage and an Environmental Project Coordinator at the Southwest Alaska Municipal Conference.

Hendrik Van Hemert obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration degree in Sustainable Business Practices at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business.
