Nizam Abdullah, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications and auditing industry. Nizam has held various managerial positions in companies such as edotco Group, Axiata, Telekom Malaysia, Aktel, Axiata, and Telekom Malaysia. Nizam'sroles have included overseeing departments, managing teams, conducting audits, implementing strategic initiatives, and providing advisory services. Nizam Abdullah's experience also includes conducting research as a researcher at Lancaster University Management School. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong project management skills, technical expertise, and cross-cultural management abilities.
Nizam Abdullah, Ph.D. began their education by completing their high school diploma in Pure Science at Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor (SMSS) from 1984 to 1988. Nizam then pursued an American Associate Degree at Indiana University Bloomington from 1990 to 1992. Afterward, Nizam attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 1992 to 1995 to earn their Bachelor of Science degree.
In 2002, Nizam enrolled at Universiti Putra Malaysia, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in International Business two years later, in 2004. Nizam'sacademic journey culminated at the University of Malaya, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Policy & Business Strategy from 2014 to 2019.
Alongside their formal education, Nizam Abdullah also pursued additional certifications throughout their career. Notably, they obtained a Graduate Engineer certification from the Board of Engineers Malaysia in 1997. Nizam further expanded their skillset with certifications such as Certified Quality Assurance Reviewer from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Malaysia in 2004 and Telco Infrastructure Development Program from INSEAD Executive Education in 2017.
Nizam Abdullah has continued to enhance their expertise by obtaining various certifications, including Data Science with Python from the University of Malaya in 2019 and Certified Associate Coach from ICF Malaysia in 2021. Moreover, they completed the EDOTCO SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHAMPIONSHIP LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM from Asia School of Business in 2023, emphasizing their commitment to continuous learning and development.
