Alexander Ptchelintsev

Alexander Ptchelintsev is a highly experienced engineer with a focus on mechanical simulation and finite element analysis. Currently serving as the Chief Application Engineer at EDRMedeso since February 2024, Alexander has also been a member of the Board of Directors at NAFEMS since October 2005. Previous roles include Project Manager at Stressfield Oy, where work involved nonlinear finite element simulations and advanced training courses, and Co-Founder and CTO at DynaPredict Ltd., focusing on LS-DYNA services and engineering consultancy. Additionally, Alexander held positions at Microsoft Mobile Oy and NOKIA, contributing to methodologies in mechanical simulation and leading significant research projects. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Building Structures and Fire Safety Engineering and an M.Sc. in Structural Mechanics from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
