Kareem Brown

Kareem Brown Ed.D is an experienced professional in community violence intervention and human services, currently serving as the Director of Community Violence Intervention at EDSI since February 2023. Previously, Kareem held positions as Intervention Director at Big Picture Learning from April 2020 to August 2022 and Program Director for Youth Victim Outreach at the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia from January 2017 to August 2019. Earlier experience includes working as an Addiction Recovery Specialist at PHMC from August 2012 to September 2015. Kareem holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Drexel University (2019-2023), a Master of Human Services Administration from Chestnut Hill College (2017-2018), and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Psychology from Chestnut Hill College.
