Gordon Rivera

Gordon Rivera has over twenty years of professional experience in the printing and marketing industry. Gordon began their career in 1992 as a CSR at Trademark Graphics. In 1993, they moved to Express Quality Printing, where they served as Production Manager for a medium-sized commercial sheetfed printing plant in San Francisco, CA. In 1998, Gordon became Supervisor Campus Graphics at Allan Hancock College. From 2007 to the present, they have been a Lecturer in Management at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Most recently, Gordon has taken on the role of Strategic and Marketing Consultant at edu Business Solutions.

Gordon Rivera has a diverse educational background. Gordon obtained a Bachelor of Science in both Graphic Communication Print Management and Graphic Communications from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1992 and 1993. Prior to this, they attended San Jose State from 1988 to 1990, studying Industrial Design, and Pasadena City College from 1986 to 1987, studying Graphic Design. In 2015, they obtained a G7 Professional Certificate from IDEAlliance. In 2018, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from BEE ENTERPRISES LTD. Finally, in 2021, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Teaching & Learning in the Diverse Classroom, Self-Paced from edX.
