Charlotte Bergin is a Strategic Planning Consultant at Education Cannot Wait (ECW) since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Coordinator for Capacity Building at Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) from July 2019 to April 2022. Additionally, they have experience as a Development Intern at Women's Refugee Commission (February 2015 to May 2015), a Secondary School Teacher at ARK Schools (September 2013 to August 2014), a Secondary School Teacher at Hinchingbrooke School (September 2011 to August 2013), and a Teacher and Teacher Trainer at Helga Todd Foundation (July 2011 to September 2011). Charlotte began their career as an Intern at Clinton Global Initiative from January 2009 to September 2009.
Charlotte Bergin has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, which they earned from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a PGCE in History Teacher Education from the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2011. Charlotte also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from The University of Edinburgh, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. In 2006, they participated in an exchange year program at the University of Pennsylvania.
