Krystal Johnson is an experienced professional with a background in education policy and engagement. At the Education Commission of the States since November 2019, Krystal has held roles as Engagement Strategist and Policy Analyst, focusing on arts and education issues and developing resources for the Arts Education Partnership, a coalition advocating for arts education. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Fellow at Great Oaks Charter Schools, providing tailored math instruction, and as an Administrative Assistant at the Partnership for 21st Century Learning, managing digital content and communications.
