Tara Laughlin

Tara Laughlin is an education designer and micro-credentialing project manager at Education Design Lab. Tara has extensive experience in the field of education, having worked as a learning experience designer, competency-based learning specialist, and director of curriculum and training. Tara has also worked as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Northern Colorado.

Dr. Tara Laughlin is a curriculum and innovation specialist with a Doctor of Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Tara also holds an M.Ed. in Divergent Learning from Columbia College (SC) and a B.S. in Elementary Education and Teaching from Winthrop University. Dr. Laughlin is certified by the Education Design Lab as a 21st Century Skills Badge Facilitator, by LinkedIn as a Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences expert, by NovoEd in Learning Experience Design, by LinkedIn in Organizational Learning and Development, by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching in Improvement Science in Education, by the University of Northern Colorado in Curriculum And Innovation, and by the State of Colorado in K-12 English/Language Arts Certification.
