Areli Porras-Pozos

Areli Porras-Pozos has extensive experience in education and community engagement, currently serving as the Family Engagement PLC Co-Lead at Families in Action for Quality Education since July 2023. Previously, a key role as a Student Enrollment & Recruitment Specialist at Education for Change Public Schools has been held since June 2019, alongside multiple leadership positions including Dean of Students and Associate Dean. Additional experience includes working as a Community Consultant for The Unity Council and as Outreach Lead for the University of California, San Francisco, both held from August 2020 to January 2021. Prior to these roles, Areli worked as a Health and Wellness Consultant and as a Physical Education Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools from September 2012 to July 2018.
