Sarah Toles

Sarah Toles has a diverse work experience in various educational roles. Sarah started their career as an Associate at Simtronics Corp. in 2011, where they worked on project development and management. Sarah then became a Program Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club of Central Sonoma County in 2012. In the same year, they also worked as an Adaptive Technology Consultant and Group Teacher at the Fostering Early Learning Institute, where they focused on creating visual aids and activities using technology for children with special needs. Sarah worked as an Early Childhood Educator at Through the Looking Glass from 2013 to 2015, where they interacted with families, provided translation services, and showed sensitivity to diverse backgrounds. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at BuildingLink.com, where they held various roles including Customer Support, Training, Project Management, and Customer Liaison. Sarah then transitioned to the field of early education and held positions such as Infant/Toddler Teacher at the Educational Alliance from 2018 to 2021, Early Head Start Head Teacher from 2019 to 2021, and 3K Head Teacher from 2021 to 2022. Sarah then became an Associate Director of Preschool at 14 Street Y from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Sarah is serving as the Director of Education, Infants, Toddlers, and Twos at Educational Alliance.

Sarah Toles received their Master of Science in Infant Family Development from Bank Street College of Education from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah Toles has earned several certifications. Sarah obtained a Professional Certificate in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) and a Professional Certificate in Students With Disabilities (Birth - Grade 2) from the New York State Education Department in May 2022. In March 2016, they also obtained a certification in Python Data Structures, although the institution is unknown.
