Jenay Robert is a Senior Researcher at EDUCAUSE since July 2021, focusing on equitable and inclusive education, social and cultural influences on teaching and learning, and ethical human data practices. Previously, Jenay served as a Research Project Manager at Penn State University, where collaborations with faculty, staff, students, and administrators focused on teaching and learning with technology. With a background as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of South Florida, research involved mixed methods related to the retention and achievement of postsecondary science students. Earlier experiences at Penn State University included roles as a Research Assistant in Curriculum & Instruction and Organic Chemistry, and as an SAT prep instructor at Kaplan Test Prep. Jenay holds a Ph.D. in Science Education from Penn State University, an ABD in Organic Chemistry from the same institution, a B.S. in Chemistry from Florida International University, and an AA in Chemistry from Miami Dade College.
