David W Barnes

David W Barnes has a diverse work experience in various industries. David W is currently working at eduMe as a Senior Product Manager (Platform), leading the product strategy for the platform tribe. David W'sresponsibilities include developing integrations, improving the platform's scalability and performance. Prior to this, David co-founded agreeme, a mobile application for interpersonal agreements and contracts.

David also worked at Protolabs as an EMEA IM Product Manager, where they played a key role in the testing and rollout of a system redesign, as well as implementing software and business process changes. David W has experience in the business intelligence sector, having worked as a Product Manager at Salesbadger and sales-i. At Salesbadger, they developed a business intelligence tool while at sales-i, they supported product functions during a transition to a microservices infrastructure.

David has also held roles at Freestate of Digbeth Ltd., ELEY Limited, and IMIplc. At ELEY Limited, they became their first-ever Product Manager, and also worked as a Business Development Manager. David's early career included positions at IMIplc, Norgren, and IMI Cornelius, where they gained experience in project management and corporate reporting. Overall, David W Barnes has a strong background in product management, business development, and project coordination.

David W Barnes completed their BSc(hons) in Engineering with Business Studies from the University of Warwick between 2005 and 2008. Later, in 2010 and 2011, they pursued an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth. In addition, David has obtained several certifications including Code Foundations Skill Path from Codecademy in October 2021, PMC Level I from Pragmatic Institute in March 2021, AgilePM Foundation from APMG-International in October 2015, and AgilePM Practitioner also from APMG-International in October 2015.
