Juan Garoz

Juan Garoz has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Juan is the Co-Founder of Viaja Seguro since November 2020. Juan holds the position of Project Lead at Edvisor starting from June 2022. From February 2020, they have been serving as the CTO & E-commerce Director at Mundo Joven Travel Shop. Juan also co-founded Darwwwin in January 2019 and Parrot Virtual Events in September 2020, where they held the roles of Co-Founder. Juan Garoz has a background in project leadership, business development, and event coordination, having worked at Opinno as a Project Leader, BDM & Event Coordinator, MIT Technology Review (ES) as a Project Leader & Event Coordinator, and Harvard Business Review en Español as a Project Leader & Event Coordinator. Juan has excelled in their role as the Global Sales & Marketing Director at Book&Learn from March 2017 to April 2019, achieving substantial growth in new business and implementing data-driven marketing strategies. In addition to their professional roles, Juan Garoz has also worked as a freelance designer, specializing in web design, photography, video marketing, and marketing strategies within the education industry.

Juan Garoz completed their education at various institutions. From 2005 to 2010, they attended Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they obtained a Licenciatura in Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas, with a focus on Marketing & Communication. In 2010, they also spent a brief period studying at Università degli Studi di Firenze, specializing in Publicitá e comunicazione. In 2011, Juan pursued further education by completing a Business English Course at EC English Language Centres Alumni in South Africa. Additionally, in December 2019, they obtained the Opinno Way Certification from Opinno.
