Brett Farris

Brett Farris is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Risk Manager at Edward Jones since August 2021, Brett previously held the position of Senior Manager of Risk Management at Comenity from January 2017 to August 2021. Brett’s career at American Express spanned nearly 17 years, during which various leadership roles were undertaken, including Director of Vendor Risk Management and Director of Operational Risk, focused on implementing Basel II capital standards. Additionally, roles at American Express included managing operations and financial processes, as well as leading cross-functional teams. Brett began the career as an Auditor at Bybee & Company. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Accountancy from Weber State University and a Bachelor's in Accountancy from Utah State University.
