Justin Hynes

Justin Hynes is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in software development and support. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at edX since September 2019, Justin has significantly enhanced the Open edX open source project and improved customer support for course certificates. Prior experience includes roles at Symantec, where Justin led the launch of a Windows 10 client and developed a microservice for API integration, as well as contributions in software quality assurance and automation. Earlier in Justin's career, roles at Tangoe and AKUITY Technologies involved direct customer support and IT service, showcasing a commitment to customer satisfaction. Justin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Worcester State University.
