Christy Ascione has a diverse work experience in the fields of education, environmental conservation, and scientific content writing. Christy is currently working as a Scientific Content Writer at MIREC Canada since August 2021. In 2022, they joined eDynamic Learning as an Educational Content Writer. Prior to that, they worked as an Early Childhood Educator at Fidalgo Nature School starting from August 2021. In 2019, Christy served as an Education Intern at Dolphin Research Center from May to September. Christy also worked as a Teacher at Grande Prairie Public School Division from January to April 2019. In 2018, they were a Marine Conservation Intern at Reef Environmental Education Foundation from August to December. Earlier that year, they worked as a Language Arts Teacher at Mission Public School District from January to June. In 2017, they gained experience as an Educational Assistant at Grande Prairie Public School Division from January to June.
Christy Ascione attended the University of Alberta from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Education degree with a specialization in Biology, General. In 2015, they participated in an Abroad French Language and Literature program at La Rochelle Université. In addition to their education, Christy has also obtained certifications as a Divemaster (DM) from PADI in November 2017 and in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in September 2021.
