Kara McConville has had a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kara began their career as a Technical Writer at The Depository Trust Company in 1992 before moving on to work as a Junior Editor in Equity Research at S.G. Warburg in 1994. In 1995, they became a Marketing Manager at Dean Witter, where they worked until 1998. From 1998 to 2004, they held several Vice President roles at Morgan Stanley, specializing in client benefit program marketing, acquisition and retention marketing, commercial financial services, and retirement plan services.
Following their time at Morgan Stanley, McConville worked at Spitfire Communications as a Director of Communications Planning & Strategy from 2014 to 2016, and as a Consultant for employee and benefits communications from 2013 to 2014. Kara then worked as a Consultant for annuities marketing at Global Atlantic Financial Group Limited in 2016, and as a Consultant for strategic communications at MassMutual Financial Group from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, they have served as a Consultant for marketing, corporate, benefits, and financial services communications at Edyoucore Sports & Entertainment since 2019.
Kara McConville attended the University of Scranton from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. In May 2016, they obtained a Series 6 Securities License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
