Amanda Smith

Amanda Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic growth, project management, and educational support. Currently serving as a Strategic Growth Specialist and Project Manager at EES Innovation since January 2019, Amanda has excelled in developing data collection systems and training staff in data management. Previously, at the Indiana Department of Education from November 2015 to January 2019, Amanda held various roles, including Executive Assistant to the Chief Talent Officer, where coordination of meetings was a key responsibility. Additional roles include Special Education Support Specialist and Outreach Specialist, where Amanda contributed to funding reviews and initiated the Promising Practices project. Prior experiences include positions at the American Association of Orthopaedic Executives and the Indianapolis Colts, alongside educational support roles at the Indiana Department of Correction. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and a Certificate in Food Production Management from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
