Shawna Marino has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Shawna started their career as a Senior Account Executive at Schneider Associates in 2006. Shawna then worked as a Graduate Fellow in the Senate Fiscal Office for the State of Rhode Island, analyzing budgets and publishing reports. Shawna also served as a Special Projects Liaison in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, managing a program to highlight the stories of military servicemembers.

Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and German from Boston College in 2006. Additionally, they briefly studied International Relations and Political Science at The University of Freiburg in 2005.
