Alex Lidow

Alex Lidow has a diverse work experience, spanning over several decades. Alex has held various positions in different organizations. Alex Lidow started their career at International Rectifier in 1977, where they served as CEO for 30 years until 2007. Following their tenure at International Rectifier, they joined Efficient Power Conversion in 2007 as CEO, a role they still hold. Additionally, in 2016, Lidow became a member of the Technical Advisory Board at Virtualitics, LLC. Alex has also served as a Trustee at the California Institute of Technology since 1998.

Alex Lidow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Caltech, where they studied from 1972 to 1975. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Applied Physics at Stanford University from 1975 to 1977.
