Timothy Callanan

Timothy Callanan serves as the County Manager and County Administrator for the Effingham County, GA Board of Commissioners since July 2019. Prior to this role, Timothy held the position of Deputy Supervisor of Administration and CFO at Berkeley County (SC) Government from June 2007 to December 2018, overseeing various departments including Finance, Human Resources, and Emergency Management. Timothy also has experience in local government as a three-term County Councilman for District 2, where responsibilities included chairing the Finance Committee and participating in regional boards. Previous professional experience includes roles in sales and finance at companies such as Lennar, Beazer Homes, Wells Fargo Advisors, and John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods. Timothy began their career at EarthCam, Inc. and Cantor Fitzgerald, and holds a BA in Economics from Iona University.
