Wee-Siang Lee has a strong background in finance and trading. Wee-Siang started their career at UBS Investment Bank in 1998 as an Associate Director. Wee-Siang then moved to Bear Stearns in 2001, where they became a Managing Director and Principal. In 2008, they joined JP Morgan as an Executive Director before transitioning to UBS Investment Bank again in 2009. At UBS, they held the role of Executive Director until 2011.
In 2012, Wee-Siang Lee joined Mitsubishi UFJ Securities as the Head of the Structured Business Group in Asia. Wee-Siang later joined Natixis Asia Limited in 2014 as the Head of Rates, Credit, and FX Structuring. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Head of FICC at GF Securities.
Currently, Wee-Siang Lee is the Head of Fixed Income Trading at EFG Bank, starting from 2020.
Wee-Siang Lee earned their B.Eng and Ph.D degrees in Aeronautics from Imperial College London, where they studied from 1991 to 1998.
