Rakesh Suri

Rakesh Suri has extensive work experience in the logistics industry. Rakesh began their career at Oldendorff Carriers GmbH & Co. KG as a Master Mariner, working from 1981 to 1994. Rakesh then joined CMS- Consolidated Marine Services / C-Air Haulage Pvt Ltd, where they held various positions, including CEO, Director of Marketing & Operations, and General Manager of Marketing & Operations. From 2001 to 2006, Rakesh worked at BAX Global as the Director of Sea Freight. Rakesh then moved on to Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, serving as the Director of Sea Freight from 2006 to 2009 and later as the COO from 2009 to 2012. Rakesh then worked at Cargo Partner Logistics India Pvt Ltd as the Managing Director from 2012 to 2013 and at Pacer International Inc as the Owner's Representative in India from 2013 to 2014. Rakesh is currently the Global Head of Ocean Freight at EFL, where they have held various roles since 2014, including Senior Executive Vice President of South Asia-Sea Freight and Managing Director of Global Project Logistics.

Rakesh Suri has a diverse education history. Rakesh attended South Tyneside College in the UK, where they obtained a BTEC- SCOTVEC and a Masters FG degree. Rakesh also attended St. Stephen's College in Delhi, where they pursued a degree in Science. Additionally, they studied at Mayo College in Ajmer and completed their Higher Secondary (HSC) education there. Finally, Rakesh Suri attended Osmania University, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree.
