Pedro Santiago Faria

Pedro Santiago Faria is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in leading and advising on sustainability initiatives. Currently serving as the Environmental Lead at EFRAG since January 2023, Faria previously dedicated over thirteen years to the Carbon Disclosure Project, where roles included Strategic Advisor and Technical Director, overseeing technical teams and questionnaire designs. Earlier positions include consulting for E.VALUE, engineering roles at the Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente, and contributions to environmental education with the Liga para a Protecção da Natureza. Faria holds multiple degrees in environmental engineering and management from Instituto Superior Técnico and has participated in advanced sustainability leadership programs, enhancing expertise in environmental policies and project management.
