Vice President Technical Support, Cloud Operations And Managed Services at eGain

Paul Linares has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Starting from 1982, they worked as an Operating Systems Lead Engineer at Thales Services for five years. Paul then became the Vice President of Engineering at Thales Services, where they successfully launched a new US-based operation and defined product strategies.

In 1994, Linares became the Vice President of Systems Engineering and Professional Services at Thales Services, where they delivered platform solutions and established QA processes. Paul joined PointConnect in 1999 as the Vice President of Engineering, where they designed a 3-tier architecture and built a high-caliber engineering team.

Linares held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Headlight Inc in 2000, where they implemented new products and defined a business-to-business model. Paul also served as the Vice President of Operations at NetCentrex, overseeing the design and implementation cycle.

In 2002, Linares worked as a Consultant at Alternis, where they established product parameters and defined product requirements. Paul then became the Senior Director of Customer Support and Services at Egnyte in 2012, aligning the support and services strategy with business objectives.

Before their current role, Linares worked at Atempo Inc as the Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support, improving customer satisfaction and employee morale through organizational changes.

Since 2014, Linares has been working at eGain Corporation, first as the Director of Customer Success, leading initiatives to transform the mobile and web customer experience. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Technical Support, Cloud Operations, and Managed Services, where they are responsible for onboarding customers to cloud-based operations and delivering business value to Fortune 500 customers.

Paul Linares pursued their education from 1975 to 1978 at Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace, where they obtained a BS degree in Systems Engineering. Paul then attended Caltech from 1978 to 1979 and earned an MSc degree in CSEE. Later, from 2002 to 2011, Paul continued their education at Stanford University, focusing on business and finance.
