Ahmad Fayaz

Ahmad Fayaz is a seasoned professional in the drilling industry with extensive experience in technical instruction and engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Instructor at ARO Drilling since February 2024, Ahmad has been with the Egyptian Drilling Company since January 2007, holding various roles including Senior Instructor and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Ahmad specializes in preparing and delivering mechanical courses covering critical topics such as BOP control unit operation, mud pump theory, and hydraulic circuits. With a strong background in preventive maintenance for drilling rig equipment, including Caterpillar diesel engines and hydraulic systems, Ahmad is also an Accredited Well Control Instructor. Ahmad’s educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Helwan University, obtained between 1999 and 2004, and a high school degree from St. George's College, Heliopolis.
