Atef Salem

Atef Salem is a seasoned professional in the drilling engineering field with extensive experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer at EMEC since December 2021, Atef previously held positions as a Senior Drilling Fluid Engineer at Newpark and PICO Technologies LLC from March 2019 to February 2021 and June 2017 to December 2018, respectively. Atef's career began at Egyptian Drilling Company - EDC as an Assistant Driller from July 2006 to August 2009, progressing through various roles including Mud Logger at PetroServices Drilling Overseas and Drilling Fluid Engineer at Optimum Engineering Services. Atef holds a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
