Karen Beckles, CPA, CA, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Karen started their career at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Associate, where they participated in audits of public companies and special assignments. Karen then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager, overseeing audits for clients in the consumer packaged goods and media industries. Karen then served as a European Financial Accountant at Omnicom Group, where they prepared consolidated financial statements and provided accounting assistance to European subsidiaries.

Karen later worked at Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc as a Senior Finance Director, managing the preparation of financial statements and coordinating the implementation of accounting standards. Karen then took on short-term contract assignments, working as a Finance Consultant and Interim Finance Director for various companies such as IAMGOLD Corporation, North York General Hospital, Canwest Global Communications Corporation, and Peace Arch Entertainment Inc.

Before joining their current role, Karen held the position of Director Financial Reporting at ZoomerMedia Limited, where they managed the consolidation of financial statements and led the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards. Currently, Karen serves as the Director, Financial Controller at eHealth Ontario, overseeing the preparation of management and government reports, cash flow forecasts, and all aspects of the controllership function.
