Francois Vermaut has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Francois started their career in 2002 as a Researcher/Teaching Assistant at the University of Namur, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they gained valuable research and teaching experience.

In 2007, Francois joined Atermon as a Software Consultant for a brief period of four months. Francois then moved on to IPM Multimedia Group, where they held the role of Analyst/Developer. At IPM, they were responsible for analyzing and implementing content management systems for the group's websites.

In 2011, Francois transitioned to Eidosmedia, where they have held multiple roles over the years. Francois began as a Professional Services Consultant, working until 2014. In this role, they provided consulting services to clients.

From 2014 to 2021, Francois served as a Project Manager at Eidosmedia. Francois successfully managed various international projects using different methodologies, such as waterfall, iterative/incremental, and Agile/Scrum. In addition to project management, they also had a deep involvement in the technical aspects of project delivery, including IT/Software Architecture.

Throughout their career, Francois has worked with notable clients, including UEFA, Hindustan Times, and AdnKronos. Francois has extensive experience in AWS, RestFul WS, Serverless applications, and planning for high availability, disaster recovery, scaling, and DDOS mitigations.

Francois Vermaut holds a Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, which they obtained from the University of Namur between 1999 and 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Economics at the same university from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Francois Vermaut has also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in June 2021.
