Mathias Lebout started their career as a Chef de projet at ERIS Automation, where they worked as a project manager and software engineer. Mathias designed and achieved a user interface for remote controlling theater machinery based on C++ and GDI technologies.
Mathias then worked at Unisys as a Software Engineer, where they completed integrations between Unisys publishing platform and third party systems using C/C++, UNIX scripting, and Perl.
In 2004, they joined EidosMedia as an Application Specialist, where they invented and achieved many third-party integrations written in Java. Mathias also installed, configured, and customized the proprietary publishing platform on both the client and server side.
During their tenure at EidosMedia, Mathias progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Mathias integrated Adobe Creative Cloud products to the proprietary CMS and publishing platform using Adobe CEP technology. Mathias utilized NodeJS, ExtJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in their solutions.
In 2016, they became the R&D Project Leader at EidosMedia, responsible for integrating Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to the proprietary CMS through cross-platform software development.
In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Team Leader at EidosMedia before becoming a Solutions Architect in 2018. As a Solutions Architect, Mathias developed system and software engineering, system integration, and distributed system architectures. Mathias coordinated design solutions for current system components and verified stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability of system architecture. Mathias also guided and mentored a back-end development team.
Mathias Lebout obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and an Engineer Diploma in Industrial Software from HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur. Additionally, they have earned additional certifications including ES2015: The Shape of JavaScript to Come from Code School in December 2015, M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers from MongoDB, Inc. in October 2014, and a First Certificate in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment in June 1999.
