Muhammad Sohail

Muhammad Sohail has extensive experience in the field of IT and network operations. Muhammad started their career as a Network Control Center Operator at CERN in 2016 and worked in that role until 2019. In this position, they were responsible for monitoring the IT and communication infrastructure for peacekeeping UN missions and UN agencies, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and reporting availability to management. Their duties included logging daily tickets, replacing failed equipment, performing backups, and patching.

In 2019, Sohail joined the United Nations as a Network Operations Center Technician. In this role, they provided network-level, satellite-level, system-level, and application-level support to UN missions and customers worldwide. Muhammad ensured client satisfaction by logging incidents, resolving issues, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they responded to incidents promptly and worked to restore services and normal operations as quickly as possible.

Muhammad Sohail completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Peshawar in 2011. Following that, they pursued an M.Sc degree from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan until 2015.
