Thijmen van der Pol

Thijmen van der Pol is an experienced freelancer in the education and hospitality sectors, currently providing support to over 17 companies and foundations at Thymen’s Support & Help since July 2022. Thijmen serves as a student mentor at Leiden University’s Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs, actively involved in organizing and leading meetings for governance students. In addition, Thijmen works as a tutor, exam trainer, and homework supervisor at StudiePlus Maassluis, and provides specialized exam training in Mathematics A at Eindsprint. Previous roles include bartender at Buitenhotel De Vreemde Vogel and a quality officer intern at Jeugdbescherming west. Thijmen holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Governance and a Bachelor of Laws from Leiden University, along with a cum laude Propedeuse in Public Administration from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
