As CMIO, Dr. D’Lugin is responsible for supporting the selection, design and implementation of clinical information systems that support the transition of care across the Network. He focuses on transformation and innovation using Information Technology (IT) in a way that produces value for the Einstein organization.
As a member of the Information Technology Executive Steering Committee, Dr. D’Lugin represents the needs and requirements of the physician community and serves as an advocate of management in promoting the use of IT in the clinical setting. He is responsible for driving both optimization and adoption of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and compliance with regulatory requirements that impact physicians. In addition, he works in partnership with clinical and administrative leadership to translate clinician requirements into information system needs for clinical, teaching and research systems.
