Jennifer Harrington

Jennifer Harrington is a Senior Engineer in the System Operations team at EirGrid Group, where responsibilities include scheduling and managing outages on the transmission network and studying the week-ahead transmission network. Jennifer collaborates with various teams to ensure timely project delivery and essential maintenance on the network. Previously, during the EirGrid Graduate Programme, Jennifer worked in Scenario Planning to ensure compliance with European codes and regulations. Prior experience includes serving as a Production Engineering Intern at Renishaw, focusing on documentation and creating work instructions, and as an Administrative Assistant at Henkel, where Jennifer updated safety documentation and reorganized filing systems in preparation for a factory audit. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Dublin City University.
