Simon Callanan

Simon Callanan is an experienced Project Manager with a diverse background spanning various industries, including telecommunications, energy, financial services, and healthcare. Currently serving at EirGrid since July 2021, Callanan has previously held project management roles at ESB, Virgin Media, SunGard (now part of FIS), British Telecom, Hewlett Packard, and Bank of Ireland. Notable projects include the redevelopment of the Lotus Debt Management System and the delivery of various SharePoint applications. With a strong educational foundation in project management, including Prince2 Practitioner and PMP certifications, Callanan's expertise is complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing and a BA Hons in Arts from Maynooth University.
