Geoff Burgess

Geoff Burgess has extensive experience in electricity distribution management, currently serving as the Head of Strategic Council Partnerships and General Manager Network Operations and Customer Response at Essential Energy since April 2011. Notable contributions include establishing an emergency customer contact center, overseeing training delivery, and managing electricity distribution control operations. Previously, Geoff held the position of Group Manager Network Operations at Country Energy from January 2007 to April 2011. Geoff holds a Master of Management degree from Charles Sturt University, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and completed secondary education at St Andrew's Cathedral School from 1973 to 1978.
