Kristin Livingston has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Kristin began their career at USAA in 1994 as a Property Claims Adjuster, where they investigated and processed property claims, determined coverage and damages, and provided excellent customer service. Kristin also gained experience in auto field estimating and damages during a field rotation.
In 2000, Kristin joined Safeco Insurance as a Personal Lines Territory Underwriter. In this role, they underwrote personal lines home, auto, and umbrella policies, built relationships with agents, and worked to improve profitability and sales goals. Kristin later moved up to the role of Senior Examining Adjuster, where they adjusted complex first party losses and provided file management and feedback for the claim unit.
From 2004 to 2007, Kristin worked as a Property Claims Team Manager at Safeco Insurance, managing a team of first party personal lines Property adjusters. Kristin was responsible for their performance, training, and development, as well as managing coverage decisions, compliance, reserves, and payment approvals.
In 2013, Kristin joined Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Senior Business Analyst-Claims Compliance. Kristin oversaw projects related to regulatory changes impacting claim handling procedures and processes, reviewed and analyzed statutory changes, and coordinated solutions between Claims and Product to ensure compliance.
Most recently, in 2016, Kristin joined Guidewire Software as a Professional Services Business Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for gathering customer business requirements and analyzing customer needs to help architect system solutions. Kristin had extensive client-facing experience and collaborated with customers, partners, and developers.
Currently, Kristin is working at EIS Group Ltd as a Product Strategist. Further details about their role are not provided.
Kristin Livingston obtained their Bachelor's degree in English from Western Oregon University, where they studied from 1988 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications throughout their career. These include the PMC Level 1 certification from Pragmatic Institute in September 2022, the ARC (Associate in Regulation and Compliance) certification in 2013, the AIC (Associate in Claims) certification in 2010, and the CPCU (Charterd Property and Casualty Underwriter) certification in 2005.
