Hemant Nikam

Hemant Nikam, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Starting in 1995, they worked at Kopran Ltd. as an Executive Personnel and Admin, where they successfully established the entire site HR function and handled critical situations with Union, local agencies, and government authorities. HEMANT then worked at Indofil Chemical Company as a Sr. Executive Personnel, where they played a role in launching and executing an employee separation scheme. In 2002, they joined Schrader Duncan Ltd. as Head of Human Resources and Admin, where they played a leadership role and successfully handled HR responsibilities for four sites. HEMANT later worked at Unimark Remedies Ltd. as Deputy General Manager - Human Resources, where they established the corporate HR function and implemented centralized hiring and performance management systems. In 2007, they joined Hindustan Construction Company as Sr. Manager - Human Resources, overseeing HR operations for a large infrastructure development company. In 2008, they moved to CMI FPE LTD as Head of Human Resources, where they managed HR for a multinational engineering company. From 2010 to 2018, they worked at Perrigo API Pvt. Ltd. as Director Human Resources, responsible for the entire HR of all Indian operations and heading API India Operations. Most recently, since 2018, they have been serving as Vice President Human Resources at GHFL, handling HR responsibilities on a global scale. In 2022, they joined Eisai Pharmaceuticals India as Sr. Director and Head of Human Resources.

Hemant Nikam obtained their Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Master's degree in Labour Study (Human Resources) from the University of Mumbai between 1989 and 1995. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Amity University Mumbai, a program they will complete in 2023.
