Zoltán Istenes has a diverse work experience in academia and the field of informatics. Zoltán started their career in 1996 as an A.T.E.R. at the University of Nantes. In 2005, they joined the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Informatics ELTE IK as an Associate Professor, where they were responsible for the Autonomous Systems major and served as an academic coordinator for the EIT Digital Master school. Zoltán also taught various lectures related to computer architectures, robotics, mobile application development, and formal methods in software technology. In addition, Zoltán has held roles such as the Local Manager of the Intelligent Field Robotic Systems Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree and the InnoChange HEI Initiative Project Manager at Eötvös Loránd University. Zoltán has also been involved with EIT Digital since 2009, taking on responsibilities such as being the Activity Lead for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Doctoral Seminars in the Industrial Doctoral School, serving as the Master School Academic Coordinator at Budapest, and being the Head of the EIT Digital Budapest Doctoral Training Centre. Overall, Zoltán Istenes brings extensive experience and expertise in academia, informatics, and leading various initiatives in the field.
Zoltán Istenes earned their PhD in Informatics from Nantes Université from 1993 until 1997. Additionally, they studied Informatics at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 1993 to 1996.
