Niki Kousi

Niki Kousi currently serves as the Managing Director for EIT Manufacturing CLC South East, a position held since November 2022, following an interim role in the same capacity earlier in 2022. Prior to this, Niki was a Project Manager at the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation from November 2014 to October 2022, where key responsibilities included coordinating EU funded projects, leading teams, and developing manufacturing innovation strategies. Niki has also held the role of Research Engineer, focusing on the development of flexible manufacturing systems and human-robot collaboration. Niki Kousi holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras and a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics from the same institution. Notably, Niki was a finalist for the Woman Led Innovation Prize at the EC Innovation Radar Prize.
