Abdelhakim Amer is an Industrial PhD Candidate in Robotics and A.I at EIVA a/s, focusing on optimal and learning-based control methods for marine robotics. Concurrently, Amer serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Aarhus University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, teaching Control Systems and Autonomous Mobile Robots. As a researcher at the AIR Lab, Amer works on the autonomous inspection of offshore wind turbines. Previous experience includes internships and roles at Royal IHC, Project Talaria, Princeton University, and Nestlé, where skills in dynamics, control, mechanical design, and project management were developed. Abdelhakim Amer holds a PhD in Mechatronics from Aarhus University, a Master’s degree in High Tech Engineering from Delft University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
