Simon Toller

Simon Toller has a diverse work experience across multiple industries and roles. Simon is currently the Co-Founder of ekko, a company that offers embedded sustainability solutions for the digital economy. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Union Bank UK plc. Before joining Union Bank, Simon was the Chief Financial Officer at LQID.

Simon has also worked as a Finance Director at Piggyback Property, a technology-enabled start-up. In addition, they served as a Senior Financial Consultant at Veracity Consulting, where they provided interim support on property, digitalization, and commercial matters.

In their earlier career, Simon held various roles at Deutsche Bank, including Data Sourcing Lead, Business Analyst for Treasury Change, and Project Manager. Simon also worked as a Senior Financial Resource Analyst and Financial Controller at Deutsche Bank. Prior to their tenure at Deutsche Bank, Simon worked as an Auditor at Andersen, where they led audit teams for clients in the Technology, Media, and Entertainment sectors.

Throughout their career, Simon has demonstrated expertise in finance, strategy development, project management, and start-up leadership.

From 1988 to 1995, Simon attended Bishop Stopford School. The degree name and field of study for this period are unknown.

Simon then went on to study at The University of Manchester from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maths.

Continuing their education, Simon pursued a professional qualification in accounting. From 1998 to 2001, they attended ICAEW where they earned an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Simon obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW in September 2001 and the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from Knowledge Train in February 2015.
