John Bondoc has an extensive work experience in various design roles. John is currently the Design Director at Ekohe, where they lead an international design team and drives the design strategy. Before that, they worked as a Staff UX Designer at Teck Resources Limited, specializing in the design of big data platforms. Prior to that, they had roles as a CS Instructor and Design Researcher at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. John also served as the Head of Department for Men's Design and Development at John Fluevog Shoes, where they achieved a significant increase in sales. Additionally, they were the Creative Director of Innovation at Converse, where they founded a rapid-prototyping and manufacturing facility. John also co-founded the streetwear brand ASIF as Seen in the Future and held the position of Regional Design Director at K-Swiss Global Brands. Overall, John's work experience showcases their leadership skills, design expertise, and ability to drive successful projects.

John Bondoc has a diverse education history. John obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design, which they attended from 1999 to 2002. In 1993, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at The University of British Columbia. Following that, they pursued a Certificate of Recommendation in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Vancouver Film School, which they obtained in 1999.

Later in their career, John pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Digital Media from The University of British Columbia, attending from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, John has also acquired various certifications. These include the SAFe 5 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in September 2021, and a UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group, obtained in April 2021. John has also obtained several LinkedIn certifications, including Learning Data Governance, Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals, DevOps Foundations: Transforming the Enterprise, Figma: Working with Clients, Figma for UX Design, and Learning Confluence 2018, acquired between July and October 2020.
