Lead Reliability Engineer at Ekso Bionics

Dennis Steinmetz has a diverse work experience in the field of reliability engineering. Dennis started their career in 1980 as a Programmer at Atlantic Richfield and went on to work as a Reliability Engineer at GEC Marconi from 1986 to 1994. Dennis then served as a Component Engineer at Coded Communications from 1994 to 1995 and as a Quality and Reliability Engineer at Kaiser Electro Optics from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 2002, Dennis worked as a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer at Pulse Electronics Corporation. Dennis then joined Cardinal Health (formerly Alaris Medical Systems) in 2002 as a Principal Reliability and Quality Engineer, responsible for hospital and portable infusion systems. Subsequently, Dennis worked at Respironics as a Corporate Reliability Manager from 2007 to 2011, where they oversaw product development and reliability in advanced design, manufacturing, and sustainability. Dennis then joined Philips Healthcare as a Reliability Engineer V from 2011 to 2012, where they worked on Automated External Defibrillators and also served as a member of the Core Sustainability team. Dennis then joined Boston Scientific (formerly Cameron Health) as a Principal Reliability Engineer from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for reliability aspects of implanted Class III defibrillators. Currently, they are serving as the Lead Reliability Engineer at Ekso Bionics since 2015.

Dennis Steinmetz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Texas A&M University between 1976 and 1980. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
