Maria Picassó Piquer

Maria Picassó Piquer is a seasoned graphic illustrator with over two decades of experience in creative illustration, currently leading their own studio since January 1999. Maria's portfolio spans a diverse range of media, including press, advertising, video games, animation, books, and clothing, with a distinctive focus on capturing the essence of faces. As a freelance illustrator, Maria collaborates with prominent publications such as EL CORREO and El País, contributing to ICON magazine. Past roles include serving as the icon lead artist for "Game of Thrones Ascent" at Disruptor Beam LLC and creating webcomics for Vodafone's Cooking Ideas blog. Maria's educational background includes a degree in Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and formal training in illustration and comic art from Blau Estudi d'Art.
