Margaret Lewis

Margaret Lewis has extensive experience in educational and vocational counseling with a focus on supporting homeless populations. Currently serving as the McKinney-Vento Coordinator at the El Dorado County Office of Education since September 2019, Margaret ensures compliance with the McKinney-Vento Act and aids districts in developing effective Homeless Education programs. Previously, from October 2012 to September 2019, Margaret was a Vocational Counselor at El Dorado County Health and Human Services, where program development and leadership were pivotal to success, including the design of the Housing Support Program. Early career experience at Volcano Communications Company involved customer outreach and supervision of technical support services. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
