Whitney Burke

Whitney Burke currently serves as the Director of Communications & Strategy at the El Dorado County Office of Education since April 2024. Previously, Whitney held multiple roles at Windward School from July 2013 to July 2023, including Director of Communications and Public Relations, Assistant Director of Communications and Public Relations, and Digital Communications Specialist/Webmaster. Earlier experience includes positions at UC Irvine's Digital Media and Learning Research Hub as an Editorial and Communications Assistant and Web Content Producer, as well as a Public Relations Assistant/Writer at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. Whitney's career began with a Public Relations Internship at ESPN. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a Digital Media Concentration and a minor in International Relations from the University of Southern California, along with a certification in Web Design and Development from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
