Juanma Romero García

Juanma Romero García is an experienced political journalist currently serving as a political editor at El Independiente since October 2022, focusing on government and PSOE coverage. Since July 2019, Juanma has been a political analyst for ATRESMEDIA's "Al rojo vivo" and for Radiotelevisión Española's "La noche en 24 horas." Juanma has contributed to various political debates at Telemadrid since August 2016 and has held the position of treasurer and board member at the Asociación de Periodistas Parlamentarios since May 2012. Prior roles include political correspondent for Prensa Ibérica from August 2020 to September 2022 and for El Confidencial from August 2015 to August 2020. Juanma holds a Doctorate in communication strategies and political discourse from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where Juanma also achieved a Diploma in Advanced Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
